CAEP Accountability Measures

The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) has four accountability measures that the Department of Teacher Education and Leadership uses to provide information to the public on program impact and program outcomes. Below are the four accountability measures for our undergraduate and graduate initial licensure programs with links to supporting data. 

Measure 1: Completer Impact and Effectiveness (R4.1)

• Impact on P-12 Student Learningand Development - 2020-Current
• 2023-2024 Initial Programs Indicators of Teaching Effectiveness (CASE Study)

Measure 2: Satisfaction of employers and stakeholder involvement (R4.2/R5/3/RA4/1)

• Statewide Initial Program Employer Survey
• Statewide Advanced Program Employer Survey

 Measure 3: Candidate Competency at Program Completion (R3.3/RA3.4)

• Praxis II Licensure Exam Average Scores
• Foundation of Reading Scores
• SLLA Licensure Scores

Measure 4: Ability of Candidates to be Hired in Education Positions for Which They Have Been Prepared

• Employment Statue of Initial Program Graduates
• Employment Status of Advanced Program Graduates
