This M.Ed. program is designed for students seeking training and preparation in developing, teaching, managing, and assessing effective online instruction in today’s K-12 schools
Prepare to administer and support online instructional programs at the school or district level that will nurture diverse, online learners through differentiated instructional practices.
The Master’s of Education degree program was designed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the need to create and conduct opportunities for current educators to enhance and improve their online teaching skill set, specifically to assist with the K-12 academic needs from the pandemic. The program is for students who are seeking training and preparation in developing, teaching, managing, and assessing effective online instruction in today’s K-12 schools by studying learning theories, instructional strategies, technology, and best practices for application in the virtual classroom.
Courses will be offered in both online and face-to-face delivery formats.
The program is supported by funding from a GEER grant. MC also offers a 12-hour certificate program in Online Instruction.
MC also offers an advanced certificate in Online Instruction and Design for students seeking to expand their knowledge and expertise.
