Students will engage in a study of transformational leadership, the purpose of which is to create within the organization the internal capacity to achieve significant improvement in elementary education.

Earn your Master’s degree in Elementary Education

As a student of Mississippi College’s Master’s in Education, you will be able to emphasize current research and theory as they relate to the methodology used in elementary schools. You will learn how advancements in technology have been able to improve elementary instruction.

Master of Education in Elementary Education

This 30-semester-hour course curriculum includes Curriculum Development, Current Methodology in Elementary Education, Teaching Elementary and Junior High Mathematics, Teaching Skills of Reading and Comprehension, Social Studies Education in the Elementary School, and more. The Master of Education in Elementary Education program is also available in a fully
online 7-week format

Education Specialist Degree in Elementary Education

As a student enrolled in our Education Specialist Degree Program in Elementary Education, course curriculum includes Personnel Management, Leadership Dilemmas, Legal Structures and Legal Issues, Technology Trends in Curriculum and Instruction, Central Office Roles and Responsibilities, and more.
