Elementary Education

Engages students in a study of transformational leadership to create within organizations the internal capacity to achieve significant improvement in elementary education.

Elementary Education students will engage in current research and theory as they relate to the methodology used in elementary schools.

Professors challenge students to learn how advancements in technology have been able to improve elementary instruction. The master's in elementary education is for teachers who are seeking to improve their teaching effectiveness and learn how to propel their students toward further success. Admission requirements include an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and a current MS teaching license. This program leads to an AA license for those who have an existing K-6 Elementary Education license. 

Master of Education in Elementary Education

This 30-semester-hour course curriculum includes Curriculum Development, Current Methodology in Elementary Education, Teaching Elementary and Junior High Mathematics, Teaching Skills of Reading and Comprehension, Social Studies Education in the Elementary School, and more. The Master of Education in Elementary Education program is also available in a fully
online 7-week format

Education Specialist Degree in Elementary Education

As a student enrolled in our Education Specialist Degree Program in Elementary Education, course curriculum includes Personnel Management, Leadership Dilemmas, Legal Structures and Legal Issues, Technology Trends in Curriculum and Instruction, Central Office Roles and Responsibilities, and more.
