The Master of Education degree in Special Education is designed for licensed educators who are looking to add Mild/Moderate Special Education (K-12) to their existing educator license. This degree is not intended for licensed educators who have completed initial teacher preparation programs in this field at the undergraduate level.
This program is aligned with the Council of Exceptional Children Standards for graduate degree programs leading to initial licensure and provides quality teacher training and preparation to meet the needs of special education students in K-12 classrooms.
