Shreve was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas. After living in four different states her family found their way to Clinton and she has been here for nine years. She is a Clinton High School graduate who then attended Mississippi College for four years obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a Minor in Psychology. During her time at Mississippi College, she was an active member of Laguna Social Tribe, a Mississippi College Cheerleader, Phi Epsilon Kappa member, and an active student in other various organizations. During her first year post-graduation she was a graduate student as well as a Graduate Assistant for Athletic Communications where she was able to increase her knowledge on Mississippi College as an organization as well as enhance her communication skills. Shreve started as the Assistant Director of Career Development in spring of 2021. In December of 2022 she stepped into the Director of Career Development position and is excited to continue to put her love for relationship building and communication to action. She will use a combination of these passions to build connections with students and employers, on and off campus, to provide them with guidance and point them toward opportunities. Shreve will complete her Master’s Degree in Corporate Communications and Public Relations at MC in 2024. She is ready to pour her energy and excitement into this present season and looks forward to what the future holds.

Lauren is from Jackson, MS and graduated from Jackson Prep in 2017. She then went on to Mississippi College to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a Minor in Psychology in 2020. While a student at Mississippi College, she was the President of the Kinesiology Student Association, a Scout, SGA member, a Phi Theta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa member, as well as an active member in several other organizations on campus. After graduation, Lauren worked in various roles around the community, several of which the Career Development Department helped her obtain. Because of her heavy involvement on MC’s campus during undergrad, she became passionate about working with students and higher education. With the combination of these experiences, Lauren was led back to Choctaw country to serve as the Coordinator of Student Employment. Her enthusiasm and drive to facilitate student success academically and with employment motivates her everyday and she enjoys seeing the Career Development Department serve in that role. She is looking forward to guiding students and alumni through the hiring process of on and off campus jobs. When not in her office, she is an active member of First Baptist Church Jackson, a member of the Jackson Prep Alumni Council and loves to spend time with her friends and family. Lauren is looking forward to the future at Mississippi College!

Emerson Carmean grew up in Clinton, Mississippi and graduated from Clinton High School in 2022. She is currently a sophomore, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. She is a member of Laguna Social Tribe. Emerson is also a part of the Phi Theta Kappa organization.

Andi Walker grew up in Mcloud, Oklahoma and graduated from Christian Heritage Academy in May 2020. She is a current senior pursing a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations. She is a member of Laguna Social Tribe, a Board committee member, and a Welcome Week crew member.

Maddie White is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is currently a sophomore pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, Pre-Physical Therapy with a minor in Servant Leadership. She is a member of Laguna Social Tribe where she serves as Multimedia Coordinator. Maddie is also a Choctaw Ambassador, Welcome Week Crew Member, Student Productions committee member, and a member of the Kinesiology Student Association.

Caroline Schumpert grew up in Prattville, Alabama and graduated from Prattville Christian Academy in 2022. She is a sophomore pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology Medical Sciences. Caroline is a member of Laguna Social Tribe and a Scout.

Keith Johnson is a Senior PE/Coaching major hailing from Libby, Montana. Keith is involved in Intramurals, Sophomore Experience, Career Development, and First Baptist Jackson. He is also an active member in Men’s Service Club Kokoa.
