March 8th - RA Application Opens at 9 AM

March 8th - Informational Interest Meeting, 9:00-10:00 PM, Anderson Hall

March 15th- Informational Interest Meeting, 9:00-10:00 PM, Anderson Hall

March 15th - Meet and Greet with Current Res Life staff. SLC Back Patio, 8:30-11pm

March 19th - Application Due, by 11:59 PM

March 22nd & 23rd - Group Processing Interview (sign up for 1 night through the application. First-time applicants only).

March 25th - Current RA Applicants - Applications due by 11:59 PM 

March 25th - April 1st - First-time Applicants - Individual Interviews,

April 9th - Decisions Announced

If you are hired as a Resident Assistant, you will not be able to work another on-campus job, serve with Crew, and/or be a Blue and Gold 101 Mentor.

By accepting an RA position in the Freshman area you are agreeing to NOT participate in a large leadership role (i.e. president, vice president, rush or follies chair) in either a Club or Tribe.

How to Submit Your References 

In order to apply to be an RA for 2021-2022 academic year, you will need to submit references. This is true if you are a new applicant or a current Resident Assistant. See below for the information about what references we need from you.

New applicants: 

  • An MC faculty, MC staff member, or mentor of Mississippi College
  • Resident Assistant for the 2020-2021 school year 

Current Resident Assistants:

  • Lead Resident Assistant for the 2020-2021 school year 

Copy the link below and send it to the persons you would like to fill out your references. References are due at the same time your applications are due. Please remember to follow up with your references to be sure that they completed the Google Form. They will receive a “receipt” in their email inbox to confirm that they have completed the reference form.

Current RAs: It is your responsibility to ask your Lead RA, in person, to fill out a reference form. They will already have the reference form, you just need to find a time to speak with them in person to request a reference.
