About Me

Originally from Arizona, I'm a graduate of the University of Arizona in Tucson with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree.
I'm an American Red Cross certified Instructor and Instructor Trainer in Water Safety and Lifeguard Training including First Aid and CPR for the Healthcare Professional. I am also certified as a water aerobic instructor and pool operator. I have taught swimming for the past 40 years at all levels, infant to adult, novice to national competition level, in Arizona, Missouri, Florida, Utah, Montana and now Mississippi. I have, also, over the past 40 years taught First Aid and CPR and various health and safety courses at all levels and been recognized as a National Instructor with the American Red Cross.
I've been with Mississippi College since 2006 and enjoy working with students in a safe and secure indoor environment.
Most recently, I was the Aquatics Director for Metropolitan YMCAs of Mississippi at the Flowood, Downtown and Clinton Branches.
