In the Fall of 2014 I obtained a AACN/Gold Foundation Grant to hold a White Coat Ceremony for First Semester students.  This is a cermony which welcomes new nursing students into the nursing and healthcare profession.  The ceremony is held before students begin there slinical practice.

About Me

I have taught at Mississippi College School of Nursing for over 30 years. We have an excellent nursing school which emphasizes Christain Caring as a basis for all that we do.


I am married to Walter and have three sons, Thomas, George, and John.  We reside in Madison, MS.


I am active in the Mississippi Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau, International and a Virginia Henderson Fellow.
